9/20/2016

Motorists will encounter single lane traffic on westbound Interstate 94 starting on Sept. 22.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, westbound I-94 between Mounds Boulevard and Century Avenue will be reduced to one lane.  Lanes will re-open by 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23.
Then, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, westbound I-94 will again be reduced to a single lane between Mounds Boulevard and Century Avenue.  This time, the lanes will remain closed over the weekend and re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
This work will enable crews to provide motorists with three lanes in both directions through the winter.
In addition, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, crews will be closing the ramp from McKnight Road to westbound I-94 for repaving. Motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour of Hudson Road, Ruth Street, and westbound I-94. The ramp is expected to reopen in late fall.
Closure durations and time frames are all approximate and weather dependent.
