John Slade
Interim Executive Director.

John has served on our Board of Directors and Land Use Committee for several years. John and his family are residents of the Eastview neighborhood, just south of Harding High School. He comes to us with extensive knowledge of housing, having worked as a congregational organizer for the Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing (MICAH) for years, as well as nonprofit boards. “I’m looking forward to helping our great neighborhood organization get through this transition,” said Mr. Slade. “John knows the city, the district council system, the board and non-profits,” said SECO Board President Laurie Siever, “and we’re glad to have him.”
