Community members attending the open house on July 24 at Battle Creek Rec Center learned about the project and the types of improvements being considered for the East Metro Rail Yard adjacent to the river and Highway 61. Questions regarding costs, passenger rail connections and rail yard operations were asked. Click through a copy of the open house boards.

If you were not able to attend the meeting, please share your questions and comments online.

A project overview video describing the importance of freight rail transportation and its positive effect on the economy is available on ramseycounty.us/eastmetrorail..
