Street Sweeping Starts this Week!

4/4/2016

Saint Paul Public Works has announced that, beginning Tuesday, April 5th City crews will begin sweeping residential streets. The work will be completed over a four week period.
City residents are advised to take notice of temporary parking restrictions on their streets.  Residential streets will be posted with the parking restrictions 24 hours in advance of being swept.
Visit the Public Works web page at www.stpaul.gov/sweep to view an interactive map that shows when streets will be swept.
As always, the sweeping schedule is subject to weather delays.
If residents have questions regarding the sweeping schedule or parking restrictions, they can contact Public Works at(651)-266-9700.
It is illegal to sweep leaves, grass or other debris into the street and offenders will be ticketed. Debris - specifically leaves and grass clippings that enter the storm drain -pollute nearby lakes and rivers.
Residents may take yard waste to any one of several Ramsey County compost sites.  For more information about hours and locations of these sites, residents may call (651)-266-1155, or visit the County’s website at www.co.ramsey.mn.us.
