Board of Directors: Apply Now!

As board members, residents, business owners and long-time employees in District 1 can help weigh-in on important issues in our District and City. When you serve on the board, you not only make sure your voice is heard, but that all residents are represented in decisions made by the City and County.

This is a great way to learn about democracy, local government, business, housing, parks, the environment and more. You don't need experience, just the willingness to attend meetings, ask questions and support our work. The time commitment is about 4-8 hours a month. At a minimum, you need 4 hours to attend meetings.
We encourage D1 renters to apply!

Current Openings
We have positions available that will be in office through March, 2020. Information is on our website. These are filled by the current Board. If you need this information in another format, or would like to discuss the duties, please contact our office at district1council@gmail.com.

Upcoming Elections
We will have seven board member positions open for the upcoming term. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 1.
