Delays in I-94 ramp changes...

The re-opening of the northbound Hwy 61 to eastbound I-94 ramp scheduled for Tues, Aug. 8 at 5 a.m. has been delayed until next Mon, Aug. 14. We are not ready to reopen this ramp, therefore, we will also delay the closure of the Mounds Blvd. to eastbound I-94 ramp until Mon, Aug. 14.

Reminder: Temporary overnight eastbound I-94 lane closure begins tonight

Beginning 9 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. tomorrow morning (Tue, Aug. 8) the right lane (local access lane) and all entrance/exit ramps on eastbound I-94 between Mounds Blvd. and Hwy 120/Century Ave. will close to allow construction crews to move some eastbound traffic to the newly-paved eastbound lanes closest to the permanent center median.
This approach is safer for both drivers and our crews and accelerates the completion of the traffic switch.
