District 1 News

Newspaper / Newsletter History

• From 1977-2017, SECO (then known as District 1 Community Council) produced the well-known District 1 News. This tabloid paper was the only neighborhood newspaper that was delivered to every household - single-family home or apartment - in the district.
• In 2017, we switched to a monthly newsletter. It is more affordable to generate, and much easier for our small office to manage. You can sign up to receive our newsletter by email on the right hand side of this page.
