About us
The mission of the Southeast Community Organization is to share knowledge and power, to organize and to advocate with the people who live and work in our neighborhoods. We build leadership to seize opportunities and work for social and racial justice.
The Southeast Community Organization is your connection to city and county officials. We can guide you to local government resources and keep you informed of issues that arise in our neighborhoods. Our Board of Directors oversees the Council and consists of up to fifteen residents, employees, or employers of our four neighborhoods. Check out our Committees page to learn more!
Our focus are issues related to zoning, development, housing, equity and environmental concerns as well as community building. We are also here to help you build relationships with your neighbors and create the kind of community you would like to see in Eastview, Conway, Battle Creek, and Highwood.
