Executive Director:
​Ianni Houmas

As Executive Director of SECO, Ianni Houmas brings a wealth of experience in public service, community development, and nonprofit leadership. His background includes serving on the District 2 Council, acting as a City Commissioner on the Planning Commission, and contributing to numerous city, county, and state committees. These roles have equipped him with a deep understanding of policy-making, advocacy, and strategic governance.

Throughout his career, Ianni has championed equitable initiatives that empower communities and ensure local voices play a central role in shaping sustainable solutions. In addition to his government and committee leadership, he has built a strong track record in nonprofit management, driving impactful programs, securing vital funding, and forging partnerships that enhance civic engagement.
​
His ability to navigate complex organizational structures and policy frameworks enables him to guide SECO with a vision rooted in empowerment, innovation, and inclusive growth. Ianni remains committed to leveraging his expertise to strengthen SECO’s mission, foster collaboration between local government and grassroots organizations, and create meaningful, lasting change for the communities SECO serves.
